About me

Schahrzad Tafrechian-Oudinot was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Paris at the age of 14. As far as she remembers, she loved the smell of her first watercolor box she received at the age of 7.

She is a self-taught artist, having also taken various classes focusing on different mediums in Paris, Montréal, and the Washington, D.C. area. Since 2009, she has been a private teacher and has done a few private exhibits.

 

Her work is inspired by her life and education. Beyond the visible world, she tries to explain emotions, reminiscences and what is invisible to the eye with vibrant colors and innovative shapes.
